My Multi-Clip video was interrupted and now I have multiple clips in Pending Uploads

What to Do If a Multi-Clip Recording Is Interrupted

If your SalesMail session is interrupted while you’re recording a multi-clip video (for example, by a phone call, notification, or app switch), don’t worry — your clips aren’t lost.

Each recorded segment is automatically saved as a separate clip in your Pending Uploads. You can download those clips, stitch them together using a free video editing app, and then upload the final video back into SalesMail.

Step 1: Download each clip from Pending Uploads

  1. Open the SalesMail app

  2. Click the Account button and go to Pending Uploads

  3. Tap Pending Uploads

  4. Open each clip individually

  5. Tap Save to Device to save it to your phone

💡 Tip: Download all clips before moving on so they’re easy to find in your camera roll.

Step 2: Combine the clips using a free video editor

You can use a free mobile app to merge the clips into one video.
Two good, easy options are:

Recommended option: YouCut (iOS & Android)

  • Free

  • No watermark

  • Very simple for combining clips

  • Great for quick fixes like this

Alternative option: CapCut

  • Also free

  • More features

  • Slightly more complex, but works well if you already use it

Basic steps (similar in most apps):

  1. Open the video editing app

  2. Create a new project

  3. Select all the downloaded clips in the correct order

  4. Adjust trimming if needed

  5. Export the final video to your phone

Step 3: Upload the finished video to SalesMail

  1. Open the SalesMail app

  2. Go to the Videos page

  3. Tap the Upload button in the top-right corner.  If prompted, make sure you give permission to the SalesMail app to access the videos on your phone.

  4. Select the combined video from your phone and hit Approve

Your video will now behave just like any other SalesMail video.

How to avoid interruptions next time

For the best multi-clip recording experience, we recommend:

  • Turning on Do Not Disturb

  • Completing your recording in one session

  • Making sure your screen won’t auto-lock

  • Recording in a place with a stable connection

These steps help prevent interruptions and reduce the chance of clips being split.
