Some users have reported that Facebook occasionally flags and removes posts that include a SalesMail video link.
Facebook uses automated technology (such as bots or AI systems) to review posts for potential policy violations. While we do not believe SalesMail videos violate Facebook’s documented guidelines, their automated systems appear to be incorrectly flagging some posts. At this time, we have not identified a consistent reason why certain posts are removed while others are not.
Our team is actively monitoring this and working to determine whether any steps can be taken on our side to help reduce the likelihood of posts being flagged.
If Facebook removes your post, we recommend:
Click the “Request Review” button in the Facebook notification you receive
Follow Facebook’s prompts to submit your request
If you experience issues posting a SalesMail link, the options below have helped some users successfully share their videos.
You can share the animated preview of your SalesMail as a photo-style post and include your video link in the comments.
How to post an animated GIF preview:
Log in to your SalesMail portal
Find your video and click Share
Locate the animated preview image
Right-click the animated image and select Save Image As…
Save the GIF file to your computer
Create a new photo post on Facebook
Upload the GIF and include a short caption with your SalesMail video link
Tip: Using a SalesMail Lens before recording your video can make your animated preview more eye-catching with backgrounds, animations, or seasonal themes.
You can also download your SalesMail video and upload the video file directly to Facebook instead of sharing the SalesMail link.
How to download your SalesMail video:
Click My Videos on the left side
Click the thumbnail of the video you want to download
Click the three-dot menu in the lower-left corner of the video player
Select Download to save the video file
Once downloaded, you can upload the video directly to Facebook or use it anywhere else you would like to share it.
