If you paste a SalesMail link into an email on your iPhone and notice it’s sending from your personal email instead of your work email, this is usually caused by your iPhone’s default mail app or default “From” address — not SalesMail itself.
SalesMail uses whatever email app your iPhone is set to use. Note: If you have never used work email on your phone, you may need to consult your management or IT team to help with getting work email set up on your phone.
Follow the steps below based on which email app opens when you send email.
When you tap a SalesMail link or start a new email, does it open in:
Apple Mail (white envelope icon)?
Outlook (blue Outlook icon with your profile photo)?
If you’re not sure, you can also check:
Go to Settings
Scroll down to Outlook
Tap Default Mail App
See whether it’s set to Mail or Outlook
Apple Mail sends from the default mail account on your iPhone, which is often a personal email unless changed.
Open Settings
Tap Mail
Tap Default Account
Select your work email address
From now on, Apple Mail (including SalesMail emails) will send from your work email by default.
Start a new email
Look at the From field
Confirm your work email is selected
Outlook sends from:
The last email address you used, or
The default From address set in Outlook
Open the Outlook app
Tap your profile icon (top left)
Tap Settings (⚙️)
Tap your work email account
Tap Mail
Set Default From Address to your work email
Start a new email
Tap the From field
Make sure your work email is selected
Outlook will usually remember this choice going forward.
