SalesMail WelcomeHome Integration

SalesMail integrates with WelcomeHome in multiple ways to help teams communicate faster and more personally with prospects and families. This article covers the two primary workflows: using the bidirectional mobile app integration and sharing SalesMail videos through WelcomeHome email messages.  SalesMail videos can also be shared through regular email and other communication tools outside of WelcomeHome.  Scroll down for the details.


SalesMail Mobile App - WelcomeHome Bidirectional Integration

Use the SalesMail mobile app to search WelcomeHome contacts, send personalized videos faster, and automatically log activity back into WelcomeHome.  This video walks through the process and you can scroll down below for written instructions.

How it works:

  • Click the CRM button at the bottom of your SalesMail app. If you don't see the button, reach out to your Client Success Specialist for integration setup.
  • Search for the name of an influencer or prospect and choose one from the results.
  • The SalesMail Coach will give video recommendations based on the sales stage.

  • Select a favorite SalesMail, record a new video, or select an associated influencer to send a video to.
    Bonus: If you record a new video, the custom text lenses such as the Whiteboard Lens are prepopulated with your recipient's name!
  • When you share via text or email, the phone number or email address will be prepopulated with that of your selected prospect or influencer.
  • When your video is viewed, you'll see a push notification showing who watched your video!

  • An activity will be written into WelcomeHome to document your SalesMail video outreach. Example below:

Using the SalesMail Portal (https://portal.mysalesmail.com)

Use the SalesMail Portal to paste SalesMail videos directly into email messages or templates in WelcomeHome.  This video walks through the process and you can scroll down lower for written instructions.  
  1. Log into the SalesMail Portal and go to 'My Videos'. 
  2. Click the share arrow to the right of the video you want to share.  This will bring you to the Share page.
  3. Click the  'WelcomeHome CRM' (or 'CRM') button to copy your SalesMail video. 
  4. Create an email draft in WelcomeHome, click in the body of the message, and paste your SalesMail template.
  5. To track messages sent through WelcomeHome as a SalesMail activity, you will have to edit the activity type.

Sending Bulk Emails in WelcomeHome with Detailed View Tracking
