Trouble sending content via Hightail
The best way for users to send photo and video content to HeartLegacy for professionally edited videos is to send it to our HeartLegacy Hightail space. When you do so, you will simply record content on your phone, and then use your phone's web browser to navigate to the form at https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/heartlegacy and upload the content you want us to use. Please DO NOT set up a Hightail account and do not download any Hightail app.
On occasion, we find cases where a user has either intentionally or accidentally created their own Hightail login using their email address. At that point on, if they try to submit content to
Heartlegacy's Hightail space, Hightail recognizes their email address and directs them to log into their own space instead (this prevents them from being able to send content to our HeartLegacy Hightail space). Furthermore, some users may be set up to automatically log into their own Hightail account that they had set up, and then
mistakenly upload content to their own account while thinking they are sending content to HeartLegacy.
If you feel you may have created your own Hightail account and/or if you send content to HeartLegacy but your Client Success Specialist said that we didn't receive it, here are some things to try:
1. If you think you may be getting auto-logged into a Hightail account that you purposefully or accidentally set up, we want you to try opening our
HeartLegacy Hightail Space in a private or incognito browser tab on the phone that has the photos/videos that you want to send to HeartLegacy.
- In Google Chrome, press the dot dot dot menu and then select 'New Incognito Tab'. Then navigate to https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/heartlegacy.
- In Safari, press the tab button (looks like two squares with one layered over the top of the other and it is typically in the lower right of the screen). Then press the drop down menu in the bottom middle and select 'Private' to open private browsing mode. Then click the plus sign to open a new private tab and navigate to https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/heartlegacy.
- Other browsers typically have a similar workflow to open a private tab.
2. When you go to fill out the hightail form at
https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/heartlegacy to submit photos and videos to us,
put a fake email address into the email field on the form, but be sure to put your correct name, community, etc. in the comments so we know who it came from.
By putting in a fake email address, Hightail will allow the form to be submitted and the content will come to HeartLegacy. If you try to use your real email address that has its own Hightail account, Hightail will instead redirect you to log into your own Hightail account, at which point you would be uploading content to your own account rather than sending it to HeartLegacy.
We hope this information is helpful to you. Please call your Client Success Specialist if you need further assistance!
