Use SalesMail to keep people informed in a compassionate way before and after emergencies

Video messaging is a quick and powerful way to keep family members, residents, employees and others informed and to put their minds at ease as much as possible before, during, and after a storm or other emergency.   Video messages help you get across your tone, emotion, and compassion in a way that black and white text simply can't.   It is also much quicker to record a video versus trying to write the perfect email.  Your videos can be sent via CRM, email, text, marketing email system such as HubSpot, and/or posted on social to get the word out.

Here are some ideas for content of emergency video messages:

Pre-Storm Preparation
  1. What is being done prior to the storm to prepare the community and residents?
  2. Do family members need to refrain from calling the community during the storm?  If so, explain why and provide an alternate phone number (like corporate 800#) for emergencies, if possible.
  3. What do family members need to know about the situation?
  4. Are there evacuation plans?
During the Storm
  1. Provide proactive updates every 3-4 hours about how the building is doing, how the residents are doing, if there are any leaks, flooding, etc.  Keep family members informed so they don't have to call in.
After the Storm
  1. Provide updates on the impact, how residents are doing, and any pertinent information family members, residents, employees, or others need to know.
