CTA stands for Call to Action. CTA buttons can be added to your SalesMail videos from the Share page or screen. When a recipient watches your video, the CTA button appears directly beneath the video, giving them an easy way to take the next step, such as scheduling a tour or assessment, requesting information, or contacting your team.
Shared CTAs make it easy for everyone at a community to use the same approved CTA buttons in their SalesMail videos.
CTAs drive action. By creating shared CTAs, your team can make sure the right calls to action are available to everyone who needs them.
Shared CTAs are CTA buttons set up for a specific location. Once created, they automatically appear in the CTA Library for all users at that location, alongside any CTAs those users have created for themselves.
This makes it easy to provide your team with consistent, approved CTAs without requiring each user to create them individually.
When a new team member is added to a community, they automatically have access to that community's shared CTAs. There is no need to recreate or manually share CTA buttons with new users.
Admin users can log into the SalesMail portal and create shared CTAs for their community/location.
Users on a parent account who have "corporate" or admin permissions can log into the portal and set up shared CTAs on behalf of all child/community locations.
This makes it easy for corporate teams to establish and maintain consistent CTAs across the communities they support.
Log into the SalesMail portal as an authorized admin or corporate user.
Select Shared CTAs from the navigation menu. If you don't see the menu item, hard refresh your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R on Chrome). If you still don't see it, you may not have the proper permissions to set up CTAs for other team members. Reach out to us at support@salesmail.com for assistance.
Select the Location where you want to create the CTA.
Click the + button.
Enter the Button Text that should appear on the CTA.
Enter the URL where the recipient should be directed.
Save the CTA.
The CTA will then be available in the CTA Library for users at that location.
Once a shared CTA has been created, users at that location can add it to their videos just like any other CTA.
Record or select your SalesMail video.
Go to the Share page or screen.
Select a CTA from the CTA Library.
Complete the sharing process.
When the recipient watches the video, the CTA button will appear directly beneath the video. When clicked, the button takes the recipient to the URL associated with the CTA.
Shared CTAs help your team:
Drive action by giving recipients an easy next step.
Maintain consistency across team members.
Save time by eliminating the need for each user to create the same CTA.
Simplify onboarding because new users automatically have access to the location's shared CTAs.
Support corporate standards by allowing corporate users to establish approved CTAs for the communities they support.
Consider creating shared CTAs for the actions you most want recipients to take, such as:
Schedule a Tour
Request Information
Contact Us
Apply Now
Schedule an Assessment
Meet Our Team
Tip: A good CTA gives the recipient a clear, specific next step. Instead of simply saying "Learn More," consider a CTA that tells the recipient exactly what you want them to do.
